Michael has over twenty-five years of experience in continuing healthcare education, and his commitment to making a difference drives his passion for advancing patient care. He has been an invited speaker for numerous engagements in the areas of compliance, regulatory issues, and best practices. Michael is a Certified Healthcare CPD Professional, past President of the National Association of Medical Education Companies, and is recognized as a Fellow by the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions.
Michael earned his MBA degree from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business in Denver, Colorado, and before attaining his current position, Michael’s professional commitments were focused on establishing, operating, and strengthening multiple healthcare education organizations.
Allison earned her Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Missouri State University. She began her career in marketing/event planning and, in 2000, transitioned to meeting planning for medical education companies. Now with more than twenty years of experience in accredited continuing education and 16 years working exclusively in joint provider partner relationships with an accredited provider, Allison is a Certified Healthcare CPD Professional with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the areas of accreditation and compliance, operations, and partnership collaborations. Her role at PACE is to create a superior experience for partners, as the single point of contact for all their accreditation needs.
Samantha earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Rhode Island. She started her career and spent 6 years in managed care as a clinical pharmacist at a national Pharmacy Benefits Management company. Her primary duties included clinical program development, drug utilization review, formulary management, and quality assurance. She then transitioned to medical education, where she has been working for more than fifteen years. She has worked for both a nonaccredited medical education and communications company developing content for various initiatives and for accredited provider companies. She currently serves as the Scientific Director at PACE, where she manages the overall educational design, certification, and review for accredited CE activities provided by PACE.
Dr. Mattiucci is licensed as a registered pharmacist in Rhode Island, and she is also a Certified Healthcare CPD Professional. She served as a volunteer field reviewer for the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education and as a volunteer for the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.
Sophia Kelley, MBA, serves as the Manager of Accreditation. In this role, Ms. Kelley oversees the operations of maintaining compliance for Joint Accreditation. This includes documentation, processes, procedures, and planning.
Prior to joining PACE, Ms. Kelley held a number of positions in hospital continuing medical education for more than ten years. In her most recent position at Emory Decatur Hospital (formerly DeKalb Medical) in Decatur, Georgia, she provided leadership and overall direction to the physician CME program, including planning, conducting, and evaluating education efforts as Manager of Continuing Medical Education. She brings a wealth of knowledge in the planning and execution of a successful CME program.
Ms. Kelley earned her master’s degree in health care administration from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
The PACE continuing education program is focused on the needs of the healthcare team, as it develops activities for physicians, physician associates/physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers, singly and collaboratively.
